As a valued member of our team, you will:
- Be responsible for truck sales within assigned Area of Responsibility (“AOR”), through growth and retention of existing customers and obtaining new business. Works daily with all areas of dealership to ensure excellence in customer service.
- Meet or exceed sales goals both number of units and gross profit margin.
- AOR development and management
- Prospecting/Marketing to locate and attract new customers while retaining and growing existing business
- Face to face meetings including cold calls.
- Meet or exceed OEM Sales Participation requirements.
- Sell full product range across all industries.
- Product knowledge
- OEM hard and soft products
- Developing knowledge of Power Statement and Probing Questions
- Utilize tools and systems to complete all sales processes and ensure consistent customer experience and best in the industry.
- OEM Tools to develop quotes, proposals, sales assistance, etc.
- Customer Relationship Management Tool (“CRM”) to document daily activities and opportunities.
- Internal tools – Proposals, Buyer’s Orders, etc.
- Delivery Process
- Work with all areas of dealership
- Finance and Insurance Department to actively pursue and educate customers on financing options.
- Parts and Service to ensure timely delivery and repairs of trucks.
- Sales and Accounting to ensure all paperwork completed accurately and timel
- Rental and Leasing utilization
- Timely completion of all Company and OEM sponsored training programs and requirements
Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred.
- Basic computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office products preferred.
- Personal Accountability and self-motivated, willingness to learn and develop knowledge of the
heavy-duty truck industry
- Ability to follow through with promises made to customers and team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skill Time management skill
- Team Player
- Must obtain CDL within 180 days.
